Leg numbness

Posted in Group:

I was diagnosed type 2 in Nov 2011 and gave a couple questions.
1). U started walking 30 minutes a dat, 5 days a week. About 20 minutes into the walk my left leg will go numb from the knee down, is this diabetic related? Anyone else have this issue?

2). My BS drops 30-40 points during the walk, does this have anything to do with the numbness I an experiencing? My BS seems to be in a normal range most of the time now but will go low if I don't eat every 3 hours. I started out taking actos twice a day, I have gone to once a day about a month ago. One day BS was 113 when I started my walk, it was 73 30 minutes later.

I am not familiar with this medicine. Something is affecting your circulation, maybe a nurse can clarify this for you. Wishing you to feel better soon. God bless you.
